Joint Exhibition of Mui Hoi Ying, Wong Hong Tik and Yeung Lok Yiu
「我以為用力推走貼紙上的氣泡便會平整無瑕；
我以為磨砂玻璃可以隱藏一切的不安和羞恥；
但看着你模糊遠去的身影，才意識到留在原地的只有我和無處安放的記憶。」
聯展以三人的視覺遊走商場，
閒置的單位與滿溢的訊息構成複雜且矛盾的場所，
只有用 emo kid的語調才能寄放對過去某事的執着。
三人迷失在這個殘舊遺忘之地，嚮往和迷戀過去的美好，
一邊執著一邊失落。

The exhibition exists within the shopping centre from the trio's perspectives.
The empty units and overflowing information have formed a complex and contradictory space.
Only by using the language of "emo kid",
they can settle their persistence of the pasts.
The trios get lost inside this forgotten place,
longing for the good old days,
keep holding on and keep feeling down.

梅愷盈
𝐌𝐮𝐢 𝐇𝐨𝐢 𝐘𝐢𝐧𝐠
梅愷盈，生於1998年香港，2021年畢業於香港中文大學藝術系。
以混合媒介、影像及裝置探索各種潛意識、本能與社會行爲。
她相信人類生而擁有共同情感和精神渴求，現代社會秩序與古代文明其實同出一轍，
所有行爲和痕跡仿佛不停重複。
梅喜歡觀察城市和人，近來視工業廢料和建築工地為終將被遺忘的城市遺址。
她在描繪徘徊在生活的人造和自然力量，也在建構可以串聯時空的共同人類語境。
Mui Hoi Ying
(b. 1998, Hong Kong) graduated from the Departments of Fine Arts, CUHK in 2021.
She has been looking into unconsciousness, instinct and social acts through
working on mixed media, images and videos in installations.
She believes there are shared inborn memories and pursuits in emotional and spiritual aspects among all mankinds. The city and people always bring strong impacts to Mui.
Recently, she perceives industrial wastes and construction sites as the contemporary ruins.
She is depicting the wandering energy among nature and us, as well as constructing the collective language in all contexts.
黃康迪
𝐖𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐢𝐤
黃康迪，1999年生於香港。2021年畢業於香港中文大學。
黃透過在布上的素描及日常物裝置，描寫自身脆弱的情感。
黃在城市中經歷了不少快速而短暫的親密關係，使他感到孤獨、陌生和被遺忘。
黃希望他的作品能幫他在城市裡尋找同病相憐的人。
黃在等待著有觀眾給他一個溫柔的擁抱，並在耳邊細語：
「我也是這樣的。」
Wong Hong Tik, Issac (1999, Hong Kong) is a young visual artist based in Hong Kong. He received a degree in Fine Arts from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK).
Wong’s creations mainly narrate his vulnerable emotions through drawings on cloth and daily objects.
Wong believes that the senses of loneliness, strangeness and being forgotten are shared in the city.
Wong is always looking for the audience who would give him a hug gently and whisper “Yes, I feel the same.”
楊樂瑤 𝐘𝐞𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐨𝐤 𝐘𝐢𝐮
楊樂瑤生於香港，創作多以生活可及的事物和個人成長經驗爲根本，家居、家庭、城市均是她關心的對象。楊定位自己爲一個觀察者，通過截取和轉化熟悉的事物和場景，試圖接觸生活中相遇但不相識的人類。
Yeung Lok Yiu, was born in Hong Kong. Yeung uses objects related to daily life and her personal experience as roots of her creative practice. Home, household and the city are things she cares about. Yeung positions herself as an observer. She attempts to connect with human beings she came across through intercepting and conversing things and scenarios we are all familiar with.
